An exploration of generative and cybernetic music composition techniques, Dead Sea Aleatoric / Feedbacks comprises two longform tracks.

Dead Sea Aleatoric, uses probability and chance to determine multiple parameters on a hardware sampler/processor over the course of 24 minutes. Its long duration allows for various subtly different possibilities to play out. Dead Sea Aleatoric is designed for a zoned out, hypnotic listening experience, an automated jam band to accompany your road trip.

Feedbacks, directly inspired by the cybernetic compositions of Roland Kayn, is a collage of three live in-studio performances centered around a feedback loop on a modular synthesizer. Each pass through the loop adds and subtracts harmonic content by way of a resonator, a filter, and a pitch shifting delay. An envelope follower on the output of the loop sends cv back to the patch in order for it to self-regulate.
